Introduction
As we all know, for our group assignment for Study Skills subject, we need to conduct an academic activity in an education institution. The main idea is to apply our knowledge about Study Skills in our own perspective based on the different level of education. Thus, our group has chosen to execute an activity at Smart Soleh Integrated Preschool located at Kota Damansara. This particular pre-school consists of 30 pupils that range 4 to 6 in years.
We would like to give an honorable thanks to our lecturer and advisor, Madam Siti Noor Amyah Binti Khasbullah for advising us throughout the planning and preparation period. Also, we would like to thank Madam Nor Banum Md. Noor, as the principal of Smart Soleh Integrated Preschool for approving our proposal and allowing us to execute our academic activities.
We believe that children learn well when they are happy and having fun. Through game-based activities we aim to provide an environment where all children will feel valued and happy. We encourage the children to actively participate in their own learning and where, we hope, they will want to explore and learn more. We actively encourage positive relationships where children have high levels of self-esteem and self-confidence, developing care and respect for themselves, others and their environment. Furthermore, we

I believe children learn best through play. I see this everyday watching the children learning to count while building with blocks, or learning colors while painting or coloring with crayons. I strive to make an environment for these children so they can excel in all their developmental milestones. Children are more motivated to learn when they are able to make choices. It is my responsibility to make sure they have an environment accessible to them that is stimulating and enriching to help them make these choices. Learning to make positive choices is very important for children as it helps them to see how their choices can, in fact, can affect the people around them. This can make children feel very independent and highly involved in their own learning experiences. My role here is to help children with their abilities to make positive choices.…

“play is the elemental learning process by which humankind has developed. Children exhibit a behavioural imperative and instinctive desire to play. It has contributed significantly to the evolutionary and developmental survival of our species. Children use play in the natural environment to learn of the world they inhabit with others. It is the very process of learning and growth, and as such all that is learnt through it is of benefit to the child.” (welsh government play policy)…

    Hydraulic Jump

Hydraulic jump is the natural phenomenon that always occurs at the open channel flow like river and spillway. This phenomenon occurred when a high velocity liquid discharge into a zone with a lower velocity of water that doesn’t have a slope steep enough to maintain the supercritical flow(high velocity liquid). The results, an abrupt rise occurred in the liquid surface. The rapidly flowing liquid will abruptly slowed and increase in height. This will converting the flow’s kinetic energy into potential energy, with some energy are permanently lost through confusion to heat. In an open channel flow, this demonstrated as the fast flow rapidly slowing and piling up on top of itself similar to how shockwave occurred. The smooth transition is possible in open channel flow from subcritical to supercritical flow, but it’s not possible the other way around.…

This paper is a report on an experiment conducted with the aim to find out whether the value of difference threshold is equal to the proposed theory of Weber’s law. This present paper is also interested in investigating on the extent to which the threshold may occur. The difference threshold in this study is determined by using the basic idea of Weber’s law in which the constant is 0.02. Thirteen participants (five male and eight female) students have been selected by using convenience sampling. By using independent group designs (between subject designs), the participants have been exposed to a different testing factor (constant weight and random weight) at once. For the result, Weber’s constant was calculated by using the formula ΔI / I = k. Two graphs were presented to show the result and the comparison between both graphs showed that there is no relationship exists because there is no upper threshold found.…
