Your ability to function and feel well while you're awake depends on whether you're getting enough sleep. It also depends on whether you're sleeping at a time when your body is prepared and ready to sleep. Sleep deprivation is a condition that occurs if one doesn't get enough sleep. However, the sleep deprivation affects college students, and the rate becomes higher when the final exams approach. Also, social life, jobs and relationships with friends are more important than sleep. Accidents, losing concentration, and becoming more stressful are various problems due to sleep deprivation.

    After recording my sleep for a whole week I came to some realizations that I should probably go to bed a little earlier. Though in an regular week, full of classes, exams, and other events I was able to average a little under 8 hours. There were nights that I was only able to squeeze in a little under 6 hours.     How important is it for students to get a good night’s sleep? Sleep is the activity that occupies the most of our spare time more than anything.
