When women make the decision to halt or delay their ascension of the career ladder because it comes at too high of a cost to their family life, their choice should be accepted and taken as a woman taking advantage of our female standards. In today’s society, the word ‘success’ has only one meaning, having an abundance of money, power, and fame, but does a mother sacrificing or ceasing her career for her family really make her an unsuccessful person?
