Similarities Between Titus And Much Ado About Nothing
For most like me that thought Shakespeare was this crazy deep and dark individual take your hand and slap yourself! He’s just like the rest of us human and slightly touched or as our moms say special ones. William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. I mostly enjoyed “Titus” and “Much ado about nothing”. Therefore, I will be dishing my view of their similarities and differences in comparison after reading them. I chose these two very different yet likeable plays because it shows exactly what a person feels and thinks even if they don’t do it. Tamora has an affair with Aaron and she gives birth to his first born; unfortunately she is so disgusted that she tells her maids to kill his child. Not too long after he finds out she gives birth to his first born and he whisks away with his child to protect it by any means necessary. There is where Aaron truly cares and loves something; which he thought he never could because he has killed, lied and destroyed many of all shapes and sizes. Following another love was the deep affection benedict and Beatrice had for each other, but they tried to hide it because every time they seen each other they only exchanged hurtful words. Much ado about nothing had a lot of musical scenes from when we first started the play our first song sung by the phenomenal Jonah “sign no more” (Act 2 SC 3, Pg. 67). Not that they were the best but it kept the story of the tale and every time I heard it I understood it more. As well as setting and attitude of this play was much different from others. This play thru me for a while because I’m use to the drama there was no drama at all just peace and love. While Titus was what I am use to the betrayal, love, back stabbing, and overall drama and mystery. With normal shakepear plays I feel like a detective searching for the next clue to understand what the hell is going on! Though everyone knows how chick flicks end they break up, make-up and happily ever after. Am I right? That’s what I thought! Though Titus did throw me for a spin because as for the revenge for lavinia I found this scene to be my favorite as well because, I thought that there was never going to be justice for Lavonia; since Tamora’s sons cut her tongue so she would not tell who raped her, and they also cut off her hands, so she wouldn’t write down the names of her
