Similarities Between The Socs And Greasers
If u thought your life was hard, u haven't met the greasers.
The greasers and the socs a very different when it comes to their socioeconomic status. Ponyboy says his house is rundown, old and falling apart. Ponyboy is a part of the greasers gang. The greasers are poorer than the middle class. “They hold up gas stations and steal things and drive old souped-up cars, not to mention the gang fights that breakout once in awhile” it's states on page 3. The socs, on the other hand, they are upper class rich kids who were known to be good kids and not get into trouble and who drive nice cars.
