Similarities Between El Dia De Los Muertos And Thanksgiving
Each year my family celebrates El Dia de Los Muertos and Thanksgiving in November. December we celebrate El Dia de la Virgen, Christmas. In January we celebrate new years and the three kings.

They way we celebrate El Día de Los Muertos is by making a shrine to all the loved ones that passed away. We put food for the shrine and we pray for them. This tradition is a religious in a way because we pray for the people that passes away. Another thing that we celebrate in November is Thanksgiving. In Thanksgiving we spend time with family and eat food. The food we make is tamales, turkey with mashed potatoes. For desert we eat apple pies and cakes and we also eat flan.

    This is also a big celebration where they will show respect to their deceased love ones. One of the things that is done is making of huge kites.
