Should The Death Penalty Should Be Capital Punishment?

As you now, the death penalty has used as the biggest punishment way for centuries. There were big kingdoms all over the world and their most brutal punishment way was the death penalty. For example, in the British Empire the common way was hanging, in French it was guillotine. This way of punishment is very brutal and barbaric because killing is an inhuman action and we cannot kill someone because of his/her crime. The common idea between the societies is the death penalty shouldn't be the way of punishment. For example, the government supporters in Turkey always express that they want death penalties. They may have reasons, but I don't think these reasons can be acceptable. These supporters think the punishment of some felonies needs to be death.The felonies could be betrayal to country, murders and so on. They think if these criminals somehow be released, they can commit these crimes again and the punishment of these heavy crimes shouldn't be only convicting. However, these ideas are so barbaric. You cannot kill a people no matter what s/he does. Moreover, these supporters think according to their religions and their religions give them right to use death penalties. I think there is no reasonable for killing. Otherwise, living right is one of right that we fundamentally have so it cannot be ended by anyone. Instead of the death penalty there could be severe penalties that can be really disincentive. Moreover, countries should listen institutions like the UN and abolish death penalties for their dignity.
