Should Same-Sex Marriage Be Legalized?
Gender Issue: Should same-sex marriages be legalized? In this new century, the issue of homosexuality has become a serious study in the world. Newspapers and articles are often discussing about homosexuality issue. So far, there are more and more who have admitted that they are homosexuals. In this case, the issue of same-sex marriages is also a part of it. Same-sex marriages is a legalized status of two people of same sex formally combined by a vow promise. In this essay, the legalization of same-sex marriage will be discussed. There are four arguments for the essay which are human's right, same-sex marriages promote economic growth, same-sex marriages will cause a downfall in human population rate and same-sex marriages is immoral and unnatural. …show more content…
It cannot be denied that same-sex marriages is not a tradition. Same-sex marriages is a new trend. As an example, throughout history, marriage had always been defined as an institution between a man and a woman (Wahlquist, 2015). Moreover, same-sex marriages is against human's nature. Homosexuals are not born that way. Homosexuals are viewed as highly immoral, because homosexual do not take after social traditions, unnatural because homosexuality damages the essential capacities of private parts and disaffirms the nature (Massaquoi). Homosexuals may be caused by many reasons such as family issue or social issue except born naturally. For instance, there are no animals that are homosexuals, neither tiger, lion, dogs, cats or any other animals. It is strongly believed that homosexuality is a choice not a nature. As a conclusion, same-sex marriages should not be legalized because same-sex marriages is immoral and …show more content…
Although everyone has their own rights to pursue happiness, it cannot be denied that human's right should be based on a situation that world's nature is a priority. Same-sex marriages is against world's nature. Same-sex marriages should not be legalized so that nature can be sustained. Moreover, same-sex marriages can promote economic growth but same-sex marriage will cause a downfall in human population rate. The growth of economy should be in a circumstance that people are not on the way towards extinction. Finally, same-sex marriages should not be legalized because same-sex marriage will cause a downfall in human population rate and same-sex marriage is immoral and unnatural
