Should Animal Testing Be Banned Essay
I am a seventh grade student at the amazing Warren Jr. High. One of the first reasons why we shouldn’t have animal testing is because animals are getting hurt or abused. Another reason why we shouldn’t have animal testing is drugs that pass animal tests are not necessarily safe on humans. The main idea of the essay is animal testing should be banned.

The first reason why we shouldn’t have animal testing is because animals are getting hurt or abused. “Over 100 million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused in US labs every year.” The chemicals that the people are using are burning or other worse things to them. The chemicals that they use on the animals could hurt or kill them. Over half of side effects cannot be detected in

Every year in the U.S., over 25 million animals are used in biomedical experimentation, product and cosmetic testing, and science education. If you use the chip that the people made you wouldn’t have to harm any more animal than you need to. Animals are innocent and shouldn’t be treated poorly by having drugs injected into them. This includes—dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, pigs, sheep, monkeys, chimpanzees, and more. Even rats are tested and they are the closest to human DNA. Even though rats are very close to humans, they have many differences. There is my second point why animal testing is pointless.

My idea of the essay is animal testing should be banned. Millions of animals a year are subject to being imprisoned and having terrible procedures done. People shouldn’t think it’s right to imprison harmless animals. Even if it was right to do animal testing it shouldn’t have to use millions of animals. It costs a lot of money. Another bad thing about animal testing is that it costs a lot of money that could be used on more important things. One of the things that the money could be used on is the chips that can be used in place of the harmed animals. There is my third reason against animal

Animal Testing should be banned, it is unnecessary and cruel to test on living creatures. I believe that animals should not be breed in the laboratories only to be used as an experiment project. Using animals such as rabbits, rats, and dogs to test on makeup products and injecting drugs into them seems unreasonable since who are we to decide their fate? One essay I came across in the book is “Organ Sales Will Save Lives” by Joanna MacKay. This essay is truly inspirational, it gives a second side of the perspective besides the normal everyday explanation. MacKay includes in her essay, “If the rich are free to engage in dangerous sports for pleasure, or dangerous job for high pay, it is difficult to see why the poor who take the lesser risk of…

Overall, animal testing is erroneous because it does not contribute anything meaningfully to the world. When animals are tested often the results are irrelevant, due to the fact, animals have many differences from humans. Also, the animals endure poor conditions. Lastly, the animals’ lives are wasted by being tested on products that are not important. Testing animals is abusive and needs to…

The first reason is that animal testing harms animals. For example, more than 100 million animals die every year due to chemical, drug, and food tests (Animal Testing 101). This is important information because that is a large amount of animals lost every year. Some of these things that people are testing animals on are not even necessary so animals could be dying for no good reason. Also, many animal tests are cruel procedures some include feeding dogs pesticides, forcing mice to inhale toxic fumes, and dripping corrosive liquid into rabbits’ eyes (Animal Testing 101). In addition, rabbit eyes are very sensitive and dripping chemicals in them can cause major damage and pain to the rabbit.…

These experiments do not serve a legitimate purpose in society. Elias states in her article, “The problem is that animal testing hasn’t worked, and its time we stopped dancing around the problem”(Tatchell1). The experiments have not been working yet scientists are still doing them. It is not accurate and most of the time the effects are different on animals and humans. “Animals have different responses to products and medicines that differ from humans, so tests they do on animals aren’t as accurate as if they used a computer stimulation”(Elena1), states Elena in her…

Animal testing has always been a big issue around the world. Some people think that it is okay for animals to be tested on while others don’t. What even is animal testing? Animal testing is where scientists find new medications and test them on the animals before humans. Why might scientists test them on animals first? So, that if something goes wrong, only the animal would suffer and not a human. I am a critic for animal testing. I believe that animals have a purpose to the world just as much as humans do. Even if people don’t like rodents, that doesn’t mean we need to try and potentially kill them. Animals are very important to this world just like everyone else.…

Animal testing has always been a dispute between people; some people think it’s morally wrong and some people think it helps with medical and scientific breakthroughs. Drugs that people use or cosmetics that are used could have been tested through animals before being stocked on shelves. About 800 animals are tested on before a drug is passed to clinical trials (“Is animal”). Many animals get tested on, but many like mice, rabbits, hamsters, monkeys, dogs, cats, pigs, and some other animals get tested on. Animals can be used to find new advances in medical treatment and check safety for products, but these animals that get tested on can go through pain and death. Animal testing is wrong and should be stopped because…

For my research argument essay, I researched animal testing for scientific research. This topic has definitely created controversy with animal rights activists and scientists over the last few decades. At first, my plan was to research specifically cosmetic testing on animals, but after looking at general animal research, I decided to look into using animals for scientific research. My purpose was to convince scientists that supported animal testing, and were unaware of other methods, that there were better ways to do scientific research.…

Animal testing can be very effective and helpful not only for humans but for the animals themselves, too. when you test an animal to see if a product or medication is safe for people, scientists are able to find out more about the animals and how to prevent many serious medical conditions concerning animals. Paragraph 4, passage 1, states that "Humans are not the only ones that benefit from animal testing. Diseases like rabies, distemper, anthrax, hepatitis, feline leukemia, and many more are all treatable thanks to animal testing.". Also, drugs that save lives would not reach the market, because we would have no way to test them. if we were to stop animal testing then there would be many humans dying from diseases and medical trials. animal testing prevent many diseases…

Compounding concerns are that these experiments are often unreliable because animals have a different body structure and different DNA, which means that sometimes these experiments are more detrimental than helpful to human health. In simple terms, if your dog was ill, do you think you could cure it by conducting research on yourself? Since it is not possible to cure a sick animal by conducting research on healthy humans, why would we consider it possible to cure a sick human by conducting research on a healthy animal? Research reveals that only 5 to 25% of the animal tests and human results are agreeable! Most of the drugs passed by animal tests are now discarded as useless to humans – so why test…
