Americans are strong, independent leaders that know right from wrong, but Americans can, sometimes, act like sheep. A sheep is a lazy blind follower that will follow the loudest voice and is anything but intelligent. Are Ameicans like sheep or are strong leaders? Americans act like sheep because of Celebrities, Social Media and fashion. the first reason why Americans are sheep is the fact that Americans will follow any celebrity just because that person is famous. A lot of kids and teenagers follow and idolize celebrities and would follow them blindly because their friends and other people follow them. An example of kids idolizing celebrities is the way people riot and fight over Justin Beiber. They will fight and stand up for someone that they know nothing about just because there friends do it. This means that Americans are now starting to follow and obey people they know nothing about.
The second reason why Americans are sheep is the fact that Americans rely the on social media. Social media plays a big part in the way people think and follow people. The Social media today has evolved and it is easier to get false information and follow the wrong thing. An example of the social media affecting the way people think is Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. By using Facebook, Americans can get a lot of false information by people that post and upload false things. This means that it is easier than ever for an American to follow and support the wrong thing.
The Final reason Americans are sheep is the way we follow fashion. Americans follow fashion more than anything. Trends of clothes and style are followed off and on. Something that was cool today can be old tomorrow. An example of people following fashion would be the way people follow sagging pants or wearing v necks. This shows the way Americans moves in Packs like sheep, following the next trend one after another. This means Americans have no sense of independence and just follow trends.

However, contrary to popular belief, Anti-Americanism has nothing to do with America’s foreign relations. It is, however, caused by resentment against America. People from outside countries start to think and believe that Americans are not professionals. They also begin to believe that Americans are too materialistic and spiritual. They think this only because we are different from them. This is why they resent us; they are not envious of us. Also, the main purpose of language is not to convey thoughts, but to conceal them. Anti-Americanism causes us to be called “Great Satan”, primarily because we are tempting. We are also considered…

I feel Americans are self centered because it is seen as more successful to be rich and famous than to contribute to society as a whole. Many people are more interested in personal gain than helping others. Also, with the increase in technology in social media, people spend more time alone behind a screen than actually interacting with people. This deprives people of experience in developing social skills like compassion for others, consideration, empathy, etc. This causes people to be more self centered rather than oriented towards others. The increase in obsession with perfection and looks causes people to focus more on themselves and perfecting themselves. People will wear makeup, get plastic surgery, use diet pills, etc to attain their idea of perfection. This will cause them to become obsessed with the idea of themselves and their…
