Sexual Orientation And Biological Sex-Based Discrimination
As a solution to the current potential for sexual orientation and biological sex based discrimination, a two-part law would be sufficient. The first part of this law would be to explicitly define sex as discussed in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (n.d.). Although, this act does not limit what sex based discrimination can include, the explicit definition is limited ("Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964," n.d.). In order to be comprehensive, the law should redefine sex to mean any variation, characteristic, or condition of or relating to biological sex, sexual identity, and sexual orientation. This expansion would induce a uniformity into the enforcement of this protected class through a currently all-encompassing definition,
