Sexism is the discrimination against a certain gender, typically women. Many years ago, men and women had different rights. For example, women could not vote, go to school, or work many jobs. Instead, women were meant to stay at home, cook, keep the house clean, and take care of the children. Nowadays, women can vote, study, work and do many other things. However, this does not mean that the issue of sexism has been solved. Every day, women all around the world still get discriminated against simply because they are women.
