Severide: A Fictional Narrative
Severide was sitting in a coffee shop, confused and tired more than ever, both mentally and physicaly. He hadn’t even blinked at night. He had been up with the crows and sneaked out of the home. He had made some decisions, but he hadn’t have the couragement enough to step up yet. First he had to talk to some people to clarify some points. One of those people was Jack Nesbitt, who was sitting across the table, watching him with wondering eyes.
“So?” He asked impatiently.
“Thanks for meeting me this early. I was gonna talk to you last night but…”
“Cut the crap and get to the point. It needs to be something really huge.”
Severide was mad, he was trying to be kind but this man wasn’t even letting him to finish his sentence. Calm down, he is just mad at you for waking him up…
