Seventh Grade Analysis
1.) “Seventh Grade” is a narrative. How is this form of writing different from a persuasive text?
Ans. A persuasive text is very different. A narrative is a mix of story elements connecting to a main idea that shows a stimulating idea or theme. The narrative usually has some exposition writing, a rising action that causes conflicts that are resolved. In addition, persuasive text has a clear opinion that uses logical and proper evidence to support the opinion. The persuasive text contains many perspectives. 2.) So “the rosebuds of shame” means what came caused embarrassment in class, turned to “bouquets of love” from Victor for Teresa.
