This reading helped me learn how to identifiy a error when they are fragments in a sentence and also run-ons.
2. How will you use this new learning going forward?
I will use this new learning when I am writing my essays or just simply writing my DQ’s. Being able to write with the right punctuation helps you to practice how to use them.

    To create a sentence which incorporates a Parallel structure, several relevant ideas can be joined together with commas and conjunctions. Using “and”, and “or” for instance is a way to present a parallel sentence structure. The use of sentences with parallel sentence structure is allows a writer to show the value of information. One example of this would be; The president traveled to Alaska where he skied, talked, and relaxed. The sentence structure in the example includes parallel words such as skied, talked, and relaxed. When making these parallel structured sentences it is smart not to combine words which do not sound alike or do not flow orally. This means that the words used for a parallel structure should be in as much of a similar form as possible.Note how my structure included words of the same form ending in ed.
