Senior Project Analysis
"There is no friend as loyal as a book" -Ernest Hemingway. I fabricated my senior project to inspire the younger generation to read and take home books. I believe that knowledge can be power when an individual finds something they enjoy. Books are universal and are being replaced with electronics. With all the insane things going on in the world how pleasant is it to crack open up a novel, and be taken into a different universe with imagination. That is the idea of my project to provide a readable piece of happiness. The goal of this is to do exactly what it says. Exchange a new book for an older one of yours, and to give people an opportunity to read. From there I had gathered up material from family members. Accordingly constructed a “take …show more content…
The standing cabinet was empty when I had received it. From there I had cleaned it up and fixed any damages, it had been sitting for about a year in their garage. Nevertheless that portion of my project I built shelves into the inside of the case. This helps myself learn more about woodworking and simple carpentry skills. After constructing the shelves I would then place the novels donated by the Hamilton Public Library. To finish the project I had placed white colored lettering on the outside. Believing it would be an excellent touch, but also to explain what the case is intended for. At the conclusion of this senior project, there was only one reasonable spot to put a book exchange. So arranging it with the school librarian Mrs. Wohlman, placement of the book exchange was stationed in the background of her desk in the library. Where anyone can advance to read a different exciting book every time. I would take an interest in displaying my project using a presentation format on prezi.com. I'm so grateful to take part in a project that may change someone's new hobby and to spread books and literature around the school. I personally hope individuals can enjoy the exchange for the countless years to

In my case, I would state that I dont need any more chiefs on this project when I need Indians for the tribe. Meaning I have enough eyes on me, but I could use some help in on the actual project itself. I would think if they trusted Jim with a project like this they would have given him the reigns and stop hovering over his shoulder. In a since, with the appointment of Bob Petroski and sally Fukuyama on the team they have all but taken away the full credit of the project of Jim. They have forced Jim into a lose-lose situation. The success of the project would be taken by the cronies of the department head and the Chief operating officer and the failure would fall solely into Jims lap. As my first grade teacher rolls the giant TV station into my class, a majority of my fellow classmates let out an over exaggerated sigh. The lights shut and the screen flicks on, filling the room with the outdated theme song to Reading Rainbow, beginning the reading lesson for the day. From despising Reading Rainbow and getting my first Junie B. Jones book to reading The Catcher in the Rye and Fahrenheit 451, my love for reading has grown to the point of wanting to own a library that one would see on pinterest when looking for cute bookshelf ideas.…

The senior project, the project all seniors dread as they enter their very last year of high school. Although the projects seem pointless at the time, once you begin it and really try to do your best, you realize the reasons behind it. I’m sure there were many reasons, but the ones that I came up with are actually rather simple. When you leave high school, you have many choices with what you can do with your life. You can go to college, go into the force, or take a year or two off. Because of this, one reason is to get you prepared for the rest of your life, and to get outside experience in your chosen field of study. In doing this, you can figure out whether or not you really want to do what you have planned, get an idea of what you want to do if you have nothing planned, or see what you’re good at and enjoy. Another reason is to get experience in volunteering. Personally, I did not going into the topic that I want to study, I just volunteered because it’s hard to find things to do with Physics.…

Rita Devito once said, “If it does not challenge you then it will not change you”. I’m proud to say that I most definitely chose a senior project that challenged me. Each of them were unique individuals with bounds of creativity and loads of love to give out. They instantly made my Mondays and Thursdays better by radiating sunshine off of themselves.…

When I first started reading I completely hated every aspect of it. It was boring, I couldn’t spend my time outside, and I thought that it was a complete waste of time. But then in 3rd or 4th grade I read my first Harry Potter and was completely blown away by how great it was. J. K. Rowling opened a completely new world to me. Suddenly reading became very interesting and I started reading more and more, at the same time I also started to get more and more interested in reading too. By 5th grade I reached a point where I read a new book every week. And even further if a book really interested me I was able to speed up this reading process even more. For example Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix interested me so much that I just read day and night for 3 days and after that I was finished with 766 pages of it. Another author that really inspired and influenced me before is Eoin Colfer with his Artemis Fowl series. This series just full on captured my attention completely after the first page. I just loved Eoin Colfer’s style of writing, and this book was just one of these books that after I picked it up and read the first page, I couldn’t stop reading anymore. To mention another book that had the same effect on me and that I recently read, this book was Code Orange by Caroline B. Cooney. The book is about a boy a boy that finds an envelope containing scabs from Variola Major or smallpox in an old book. He then thinks that he infected himself and that he is also showing some of the system. After that he tries to kill himself in order to stop the outbreak and Epidemy of the highly contagious disease that could destroy the world, as we know it. Before he succeeds doing this, he gets kidnapped by international terrorists, who want to use him as a weapon to erase humanity. This book really made me think and also showed me how easily it would be possible that a highly contagious disease could spread easily around the world. Mainly because of…
