At ABC Institute of Research, the value of the company is in the confidentiality of what it finds. If for example, ABC were to expend a great investment in finding a solution to a problem, only for DEF Research Inc. to discover their secret, ABC could suffer greatly. In the current age of networks and computers, the information you put in is only as safe as you make it. In order for ABC Institute of Research to keep their investment safe, they must protect their data at all costs. In the following, I will show how ABC can accomplish this using asymmetric cryptology to exchange a secret key and then use symmetric cryptology to ensure the confidentiality of data being sent; I will then show you the advantages and disadvantages.…

Having already established itself as a very popular series in the action and adventure genre, the Transformers movies have been both praised and criticized. But when a movie is about transforming alien robots fighting to the death, many can’t resist watching it. To say the least, the transformers movies have revolutionized the use of CGI graphics in a way no other movie has. Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) is a “soft” reboot of the series and a sequel to Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011). The film was a huge success, earning more than $1 billion at the global box office. That number indicates that the film had a very large audience, including both kids and adults alike, and that the movie was adroitly advertised, especially in other countries. Two of the movie posters used in the advertising campaign caught my eye because of their similarities and how they presented the movie. The two posters deliver the audience two different key messages about the movie, giving insight on the character relationships, and most of all, the plot.…

The women in this fiction are represented as smart and intelligent but degraded and rendered powerless by men around them. Lois is a housewife in this fiction but she is represented as a smart and mature woman. She makes smart decisions and has sense. For example, when the salesman presented them with the options of whether keeping the boat or getting the mystery box, she did not hesitate to choose the boat knowing that there would be logically a batch in the mystery box. However, since the entire fiction revolves around degrading women, they ended up with the mystery box instead of the boat because Peter chose it. She had no power over the decision even though she was making more sense than him. Women in this fiction are viewed as inferior to men and made fun of even if when they are the smart ones and make better decisions than the men around them.…

Digital image manipulation refers to the process of digitally doctoring a photograph, to alter the original image, often generating a new meaning. Re-arranging and changing photographs has been around almost as long as photograph has itself, but as digital imaging hardware and software has both advance and have decreased in price, the practice of digital image manipulation has been put into practice more, and is harder to spot out fake photos. After all these procedures have been done it then producers a new image with hidden truths and false messages. This often affects people emotionally or may change the reality of life.…

The use of imagery is one of the most commonly used techniques in poetry. Poets create an image in one’s mind through descriptive language, similes, and rhythm. Their words flow off the page to appeal to our senses. Those who have perfected this art let us see exactly what they see in their minds. William Carol Williams, David Solway, and Amy Lowell’s poems are perfect examples of imagery.…

Mathematical morphology (MM) is a theory and technique for the analysis and processing of geometrical structures, based on set theory, lattice theory, topology, and random functions. MM is most commonly applied to digital images, but it can be employed as well on graphs, surface meshes, solids, and many other spatial structures. Topological and geometrical continuous-space concepts such as size, shape, convexity, connectivity, and geodesic distance, were introduced by MM on both continuous and discrete spaces. MM is also the foundation of morphological image processing, which consists of a set of operators that transform images according to the above characterizations. MM was originally developed for binary images, and was later extended to grayscale functions and images. The subsequent generalization to complete lattices is widely accepted today as MM's theoretical foundation.…
