Semester Goals Research Paper
My semester goals consist of many small improvements that will greatly benefit my future. The goals that I have set for myself I believe I can truly reach. Regardless if I successfully reach each goal I hope to or not, I know I am going to strive to do my best. Throughout my life, I have faced many personal losses and hardships. The difficult things that I have faced during my life have made me into the person I am today. I use these memories as long-term motivations to reach my short-term goals. My semester goals are to improve my grades and attendance and get accepted into The University of Alabama this upcoming fall.
One goal that I have this semester is to work towards improving my grades at school. Without some type of education, it is challenging to achieve the skills needed in the world. This varies from basic reading skills to AP Chemistry. I believe that improving my grades will benefit my chances of getting accepted into college. While college is not a part of everyone’s plan, it is a part of mine. I believe improving my grades will increase my chances to have a very successful future. This will also better prepare me to integrate into the work force.
Along with improving my grades, I also plan to improve my attendance at school. Last year, I went through a difficult time at home and began to skip school. I ended up missing close …show more content…
These goals are short-term goals and motivation to work hard and accomplish them. Along with those two short term goals, I use personal motivation to help me remain focus and work hard. Working on these two things and having the personal motivation I do will benefit my larger goal to attend The University of Alabama. Attending Alabama has been a lifetime goal of mine. Whether or not I successfully fulfill these goals, I am going to work hard and strive to simply be a better me this semester academically and attending
