Secret of Life Is Not Enjoyment but Education Through Experience
THE SECRET OF LIFE IS NOT ENJOYMENT BUT EDUCATION THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Good Morning to one and all present here! Respected judges, revered teachers and my dear friends.
I’m here to talk on the topic THE SECRET OF LIFE IS NOT ENJOYMENT BUT EDUCATION THROUGH EXPERIENCE.
“First believe in the world that there is meaning in everything.””Knowledge can only be got in one way the way of experience, there is no other way to know”.
These words were uttered by the great Indian saint swami Vivekananda.
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet, only through the experience of trial and suffering can the soul strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved. In today’s world we would like to believe that by turning on the discovery channel or finishing the Harry potter novel, we have learnt it all. It’s quite agreeable that we do learn many facts in detail from the media. But what have we committed to memory?
Education is not gained by becoming obsessed with the media. It is gained through experience. In school we are taught a lesson & given a Test in life we are given a test that teaches us a Lesson.
Practice makes a man perfect, we can only read about how to give a speech but it is never as adequate as the experience of it, standing in front to the attentive crowd, conscious of saying the right thing even feeling embarrassed but having done this several times we gain the experience to deal with it & to improve from it. We try saying the speech to ourselves to friends and family before coming here today just to get the experience of it.
Julius Caesar once said “Experience is the teacher of all things”. Great Indian scholars like Adi sankaracharya, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda and many others have gained knowledge and wisdom only from their experiences. A man at 60 in turns back at his life, he realizes how much refrained he is & the knowledge he has gained through his experiences. So he is able to guide many others through lives. If

Philosophy is crucial for educators when they are implementing the curriculum of the class they are teaching. A great teacher not only teaches the requirements of his or her curriculum, but motivates their students to want to learn the materials being taught. When looking at Philosophy and a curriculum an educator must look at the connection between the two. The Greek meaning of Philosophy is the love of wisdom. When examining the relationship between Philosophy and curriculum an educator will understand that Philosophy is one of the foundations of education. An educational philosophy is the approach to education. It incorporates the values and ideals that we want to accomplish. The curriculum is the diagram that encompasses the philosophy into the objectives of the lessons. In today’s world educators worry about lacking basic skills in Reading and Mathematics that our students are having and focus more on modern technology and having our students think out of the box. This discussion will include my personal education philosophy, types of philosophies, my personal results of the Philosophy Preference Assessment and how my personal philosophy will influence my instructional practices and my choice of classroom curriculum.…

“Man learns through experience, and the spiritual path is full of different kinds of experiences. He will encounter many difficulties and obstacles, and they are the very experiences he needs to encourage and complete the cleansing process” (Sai Baba). Just as Baba, who was an Indian guru, spiritual figure, mystic, philanthropist and educator, said; a person is shaped by different experiences. Some of these experiences are learned from school, some are learned from others, and some are learned by people’s past. People learned others experiences, gender rule; knowledge; and morality, during their growing. Later on, people kept learning experiences and teaching other people their experiences until they die; their…

Seeing the magical world of Harry Potter light up the silver screen again. Standing in the same room as the Pop Punk band All Time Low. Cracking open the pages of the Norse Gods in Rick Riordan’s Magnus Chase and The Gods of Asgard: The Hammer of Thor. Studying in my dorm room away from home. Why on earth would anyone want to miss out on these things? You see, I struggled with the question what makes life worth living for a long time, I knew that I was pushing on for something, but I could never find the words. I found my answer slowly, adding things that I was living for to the list until I realized that life was worth living for the small things, for the things in the future that you will miss out on if you leave early.…

Each lesson is comprised within fourteen chapters, starting from authenticity and ending with happiness. The authors also go into detail about the lessons of guilt, fear, loss, anger, power, surrender, forgiveness, love, relationships, patience, time and play. Behind this book is a drive to get the reader to gain more awareness of him or herself in order to enjoy the experience of life.…

My advice to anyone giving a speech is to stick to the subject and be passionate about what you talk about. Make sure you have plenty of facts as we as personal stories to back your speech up. Relax, breathe and don’t’ talk too fast. People want to know what you are saying and why you are saying it. Make the speech fun yet informing so that the audience doesn’t have time even to think about nodding off. Start strong and end strong, so the audience knows that you’re still just as…

A big portion of my life I was a very secluded and quiet kid from middle school into freshman year of college. Being put in a class where all your assignments, quizzes, and tests were all based on your ability to speak to others sounded like a nightmare to me. Lesson after lesson I learned how to avoid plagiarism, the multiple parts of a speech, and even how to avoid speech anxiety. When it was my designated day to speak, even with all the information taught, it was the worst speech given that day due to how timid I was talking. As the days went hearing other people give their first speech helped me to understand something, that I was not alone. There were others in the class that were as bad or worse than I was at delivering speeches. After the initial speech my confidence for myself grew as I prepared for the speeches throughout the…

Research is a key when preparing for a speech. Gather information about the audience that the message will be delivered to, dress code, time limit, and most importantly the topic. If giving a speech the audience expects the speaker to be the subject matter expert. Deliver original information that the audience will not find elsewhere. Take time to gather the information needed for the presentation, and ensure good solid information is delivered and repeat key points that should be remembered by audience to remember. Ensure that to get plenty of rest and water in the days before the speech. Practicing in front of a mirror or video can also help figure where weak points are. Make sure to speak slowly and clear using pauses to relax and build anticipation in the…
