3:46 PM Many people wonder why we have the four seasons, Winter, Summer, Spring, and Fall. These seasons let us know things like what to wear, things to eat and places to go. Some people just think that's the way the world is, But other people want to dig deeper. When people think of winter they think of snow, hot chocolate and other winter activities, Whereas Summer we think of the beach, and ice cold lemonade. Well let's think about this- Why do we have seasons, and What causes it? When you think about this question most us would draw a blank, usually we don’t think farther than the names of those four seasons. Now- we uncover the facts and details of our four seasons. When the world rotates it tilts at different angles towards the hemispheres, North and South. When the earth's axis is tilted toward the Northern hemisphere, The northern hemisphere gets more light and warmth for more hours of the day, So then it is colder and darker for more hours of the day in the Southern hemisphere. This information meaning that it would be Summer time in the Northern hemisphere and winter time in the Southern hemisphere. The Summer Rotation: This rotation is called the "June Solstice", this solstice usually occurs starting June 21st or 22nd. During this solstice is when we have the most hours of daylight, the sun's beam hits the earth at a high angle. This beam does not hit most other parts of the world, but where it does hit, it gives off a lot of energy (meaning heat). When the earth's Northern hemisphere is pointed more to the sun, it is representing that it is summer time in the Northern hemisphere and winter in the Southern. The Winter Rotation: During the winter rotation the sun is shallow and not much light is given off, which means only a little

The differences between the two seasons are spring time is a warm time of the year and summer is a hot time of the year. You can’t swim in the spring like you can the summer time because the water is too cold in the spring time. You can ice fish though in the spring time, but not in the summer time, why? It’s still icy in the beginning of spring time and it’s too hot in the summer time. I love the summer time because you can swim most of the time and I…

For about as long as anyone’s been writing anything, the seasons have stood for the same set of meanings. Maybe it's hard-wired into us that spring has to do with childhood and youth, summer with adulthood and romance and fulfillment and passion, autumn with decline and middle age and tiredness but also harvest, winter with old age and resentment and death. At both times they require using the signal lights properly. It may be a rainy or hot day but that doesn’t give anyone the option to not use their signal lights the right way. Also, during both seasons drives must give the same attention as usual on the road. During winter and summer both require following the speed limits as a state law, following speed limits has nothing to do whether it’s boiling outside or snowy. So as overall, driving during the summer and winter do share some similar points together although they have many differences put…

Just like the Spring Equinox, the Sun will rise exactly east and set exactly west on this day and everyone in the world will experience a 12 hour day. As the Earth continues along its path around the sun, its angle constantly shifts the North Pole away from the sun and the South Pole toward the sun. The sun’s energy is more concentrated on the Northern Hemisphere during summer, when its rays hit the Earth more directly and are thus more intense.…

As stated in the CITATION Ale12 \l 1033 (Alex, 2012), spring is one of the four conventional temperate seasons. There are diverse definitions of spring, but the common usage of the term differs according to local climate, cultures and customs. Spring and “springtime” refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. In today’s eventful era, people can hardly summon the time to enjoy the outdoors or activities previously relished such as horse riding or hiking which is what often resulted in the neglecting of the beauty of Mother Nature, and all the gifts of it which one has been bestowed with, thus 14th September is the occasion on which the magical shift of seasons is celebrated – even if one hasn’t stepped…

Sometimes you want rain sometimes you want sun. Other times you want rain or snow. There is no way to control what comes. We know that it snows the most in the winter and rains the most in the spring. It sometimes hails in the fall and is nice and sunny in the summer. That is what type of weather happens in this part of the world. We have four seasons with the weather changing in each season. For example in the summer it is hot so we go to the pool. In the winter it is cold so we stay bundled up inside. But in other parts of the world or even in the country it is different. In Florida it is hot and nice all year long. But in Alaska it is cold and snowy all year. Weather is different everywhere and it effects everybody differently.…

The equinoxes might be expected to be in the middle of their respective seasons, but temperature lag means that seasons appear later than dates calculated from a purely astronomical perspective. The actual lag varies with region. Some cultures regard the autumnal equinox as "mid-autumn", others with a longer lag treat it as the start of autumn. Meteorologists use a definition based on months, with autumn being September, October and November in the northern hemisphere, and March, April and May in the southern hemisphere.…
