3) How does your Total Footprint compare to the US average? Did this surprise you? My footprint was 40.75 acres. I am a lot higher than the average and that really did surprise me. I thought I would be lower than that. 4) How many Earths would be needed to support the human population if everyone lived like you? 3.6

Analyzing Changes: 1) Change
Reduction Total Footprint (acres)
Move into and apartment

.50 Use more renewable energy

2 Drive less/use more efficient car

.50

2) Seeing the reductions in footprint that occur as a result of these changes, would you be willing to immediately implement any of them? Explain why or why not.
I don’t think that I would be willing to implement them. The changes did make that big of a difference. I noticed that my highest percentage of usage was in services but nothing I did changed that number. I would be curious to see if there was something that I could do to change that number.
3)
Country
Ecological Footprint of Consumption (acres)
Total Biocapacity (acres)
Ecological (Deficit) or Reserve
(acres)
Yours: United States
8 x 2.5 = 20 acres
3.9 x 2.5 = 9.75 acres 4.1 x 2.5 = 10.25 acre deficit
Similar: Portugal 11.25 acres
3.25 acres 8 acre deficit
Similar: Denmark 20.75 acres
12.25 acres
8.5 acre deficit

The experimental setup is shown in Figures 5 and 6. Shows the GA-PID and ACO-PID controllers for a 3-phase 60KW SRM motor which are implemented & simulated by using Matlab-Simulink software program. Motor parameters used for simulation are given in Table 1. Tables 2 and 3 shows the GA-PID and ACO-PID controller’s parameters. the response of Kp, Ki and Kd parameters are summarized on table 4 which shows that the proportional controller “Kp” will have the effect of reducing rise time and will reduce the steady state error while the integral controller “Ki” will have the effect of eliminating the steady state error but will have the worst transient response on a system while the derivative…

On the right in Figure 27 shown the power density spectral of noise measurements at low frequencies, from 1 Hz to 14 Hz and used commercial resistance of 1 kΩ to compare 2 different current generators. The curves in red color correspond KEITHLEY 2400 series and the curves in black color correspond to the ADRET current generator. The KEITHLEY generator slightly lower noise than ADRET generator. However, theoretically the differential measure with correct polarization can suppress this kind of noise origin from the current generator.…

The ecological footprint enables us to estimate the resource consumption and waste discharge of a given human population in terms of a corresponding productive land area (Wackernagel and Rees 5). Although the results of the analysis are approximate, its remarkable benefit is the universal character, meaning that people across the world can apply it considering the peculiarities of the area they live in. To get an ideal eco-footprint, there must be equally ideal conditions. Some large cities and even states depend on other countries because of natural resource shortage. Eco-footprinting makes it clear that cities can support large populations only by importing the capacities of ecosystems located beyond their political boundaries (Vale and Vale…
