Science Boon and Bane
There are no extents to define science. Science is every where around us.

Some people say it is a boon and some say that it is a bane. According to me it is a boon as every thing have both cons and pros, but the decision is made by observing which side is better. Some who would disagree with me and would believe that science is a bane.

Everyone have his/her different opinion. But, friend! science is the discovery, it is the mixture of creativity of human's mind with his/her intelligence. You would say that earlier when all the comforts were not available, everything was just perfect as science was not there. But the stone weapons, invention of fire, cave, animal clothing, everything was discovery, creation, creativity, intelligence in short science.

There was no human era in which science was not present as without science the human would be even worse than the new born baby who is totally confused and does not know where he is, and what to do, but he at least know that he have to cry, but without science, humans would not be even in that state.

So friends, no to science and technology does not only means that there will no electricity, TV , ac, fridge, taps, computers, internet, transport, etc but it means even more, it means that human would be nothing less than being a living corpse.

I agree that it can be harmful if in evil hands, but is it the fault of creativity, intelligence, no it is the fault evil mind.

They can use anything to facilitate their plans and if this is the case, then according to it, if someone is stabbed, then the knife through which the murderer had killed the victim should be punished and is to be blamed and not the

From my car, saving me from having to walk long distances, to my microwave that allows me to prepare food quickly, science has made my life easier. I am able to have an indoor job working on a computer because of science. I also get to enjoy year-round air-conditioning and heat. At any given time, I can use a phone to call someone thousands of miles of away, and speak to them just as if they were standing right next to me. Science has given me machinery to automate things, electricity to power all my electrical products, as well as better medicine, and a more evolved understanding of myself and the world I live in. If science did not exist, I would have to do things the long way, and have to do them manually. The world would be a much harder place to live in without the hope of a better tomorrow. And ultimately, that is what science gives me,…

Science, or normal science as Thomas Kuhn put it, is the process of gathering facts to build hypotheses that explain different phenomena in the world. It is a ‘research firmly based upon one or more past scientific achievements, achievements that some particular community acknowledges for a time as supplying the foundation for its further practice.’ And this is the science that almost everybody knows. This is the science I know. I couldn’t care less what those new achievements are. I just watch the Discovery Channel and surf the internet and they would tell me what is new and how things happen in just one click.…

Despite the fact that Science has helped us, the advances of technology has increased the destructive capacity of conflict by enabling many countries to create horrifying weapons of mass destruction that have raised numerous ethical questions. Also, it is a constant threat to humanity with the danger that never ceases to end as can be seen by the destruction of the First and Second World War with their unprecedented number of deaths. The atomic bomb, for example, with the destruction it has caused and affected the Japanese many years after and, it was created about 70 years ago. In the 21st century, we have weapons that can make the atomic bomb look like a firecracker. The development of these weapons of mass destruction has raised the threat of total global destruction. Science has produced the means of more suffering in an almost infinite way, which surely outweighs the benefits towards healing and helping the sick and needy. As much as I would like to disagree, as long as these weapons exist; Science will always be a threat to humanity.…

The term science has meant different things to different people. To the layman you find on the street, science may mean abstract (by abstract he implies that the activities carried out by scientists are incomprehensible to him, maybe even unimaginable) activities carried out by some people in secret confinements that tend to yield miraculous results. The pre- science phase unrolled in the ancient years. In those years science appeared in Egypt, Greece, India, etc. These ancient researchers put the bases for the development of science and gave to the society very important information about astronomy, mathematics, physics and medicine. In this phase we could report that the ideas were not very systematic. The theoretical development was in a very low level and so was the development in mathematics. The importance of this phase was the primitive discoveries that…

Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. An older and closely related meaning still in use today is that found for example In aristotle, whereby "science" refers to the body of reliable knowledge itself, of the type that can be logically and rationally explained . In modern use, "science" is a term which more often refers to a way of pursuing knowledge, and not the knowledge itself. It is "often treated as synonymous with ‘natural and physical science’, and thus restricted to those branches of study that relate to the phenomena of the material universe and their laws, sometimes with implied exclusion of pure mathematics.…

Without Science, technology would slowly improve through time without the help of science. They work together and support each other for the society’s development. Society then uses the technology that was produced from the collection of data in the researches that were done. Without Society, Science wouldn’t grow as to what we have now where in discoveries have been made and the innovation of our gadgets. Hence, technology wouldn’t prosper if science doesn’t improve. Technology, which is applied to the everyday life of a person, depends on science that is produced by the society. Without the Society that is producing principles and theories of science through experiments like physics, chemistry and mathematics, technology would cease to exist.…
