Science: Uranium and Human Living Places
6. Science, which brought a great change in human life, is not only the reason for the development of the world but also a major cause for the pollution and other causes that might lead to the destruction of the world. Though the study of science has brought many new inventions into our sight, they are more harmful than they are useful to the human world.
For instance, the invention of Nuclear Power. I accept that Nuclear Power has many uses, but of it may lead to a huge destruction. The radiations of the Nuclear Power are very danger that they might cause tremendous damage to human life. Though the Nuclear Power plants are established at distant places from the human living places, they are still harmful that they can pollute the earth with toxic wastes. Nuclear accidents can spread 'radiation producing particles' over a wide area, this radiation harms the cells of the body which can make humans sick or even cause death. Even it helps us in the development of the world, it is the one that causes the damage to our lives.
Another example is that, the invention of Atomic Bomb. We know that Atomic Bomb, which is the source for huge explosion, is used as a weapon during wars. At the time of war it may be used as a weapon against some country and create a great damage, but the major thing is that it is not only the cause of damage for that particular country, on which it is used, but also for the entire world. It damages the earth on which we all live. I do not believe that civilization will be wiped out in a war fought with the atomic bomb. Perhaps two-thirds of the people of the earth will be killed. So, though it is a defensive weapon, it may lead to the destruction of the entire world.
In addition to these harmful inventions, scientists, performing dangerous scientific experiments, die in the lab while conducting experiments. The study of science is very risky and harmful. If scientists would not take care while performing experiments, it might not only

In conclusion, the fact that humanity comes up with new ways to make life easier, new ways to protect us, and new ways to lessen our work. People have come to be very dependant on technology, from simply opening a door to protecting us with the awesome power of the atomic bomb, because of our dependence on technology, in the end it becomes our doom as depicted in There Will Come Soft Rains by Ray Bradbury.…

Some people may think that certain technologies are the correct path for humanity, but certain technologies can manifest into things that people do not expect and hurt society by doing so. For instance, if scientists could predict that aliens would take over the earth if they invented a spaceship that could reach them, even though the scientists had not planned on finding earth invaders; surely they would have thought otherwise. This is an extreme example that has obviously not happened, but the birth of atomic energy is an example of technology that's intended purpose of giving houses and industries power manifested itself into a bomb for the military. Some may argue that the atomic bomb ensured progress for the American's and allied forces, yet surely the…

    * Science has greatly increased the capability of man to kill each other, literally threating humanity. Despite the fact that Science has helped us, the advances of technology has increased the destructive capacity of conflict by enabling many countries to create horrifying weapons of mass destruction that have raised numerous ethical questions. Also, it is a constant threat to humanity with the danger that never ceases to end as can be seen by the destruction of the First and Second World War with their unprecedented number of deaths. The atomic bomb, for example, with the destruction it has caused and affected the Japanese many years after and, it was created about 70 years ago. In the 21st century, we have weapons that can make the atomic bomb look like a firecracker. The development of these weapons of mass destruction has raised the threat of total global destruction. Science has produced the means of more suffering in an almost infinite way, which surely outweighs the benefits towards healing and helping the sick and needy. As much as I would like to disagree, as long as these weapons exist; Science will always be a threat to humanity.…
