Lack of sleep causes many problems. According to (Perri, NA) sleep Deprivation was a factor in some of the biggest disasters in recent history: the 1979 nuclear accident at Three Mile Island, the massive Exxon Valdez oil spill, the 1986 nuclear meltdown at Chernobyl, and others. Sleep plays a critical role in thinking and learning. Lack of sleep hurts the cognitive process in many ways. It impairs attention, alertness, concentration, reasoning, and problem solving. To keep these people from having these issues they will turn to taking supplements to help them sleep. There are many over the counter, and prescription drugs to help with these problems.
