school uniforms
The requirement of school uniforms would improve the over-all education experience for students. Do you concentrate better with or without distractions? There are several reasons why schools should implement and require uniforms. I believe if we eliminate the distractions of “fashionable” clothing and require school uniforms, we can eliminate violence, due to peer pressure, bullying, and gang affiliation. It would also alleviate the stress imposed on parents to purchase expensive name-brand clothing. As a result, the implementation of school uniforms would eliminate distractions, while ultimately leading the way to the improvement of student attendance, and performance. Requiring school uniforms in the public school system would eliminate violence, lower the clothing expense for parents, and lead the way for higher education. School uniforms have been around just as long as schools themselves, and they play a much bigger role in education than most people think. Uniforms have been proven to promote learning and help kids stay focused in school. Many people believe putting on a uniform resembles a parent putting on a suit, and getting ready for work. It makes the students take a more serious interest in the work they are doing at school. Also, it has been proven that wearing uniforms provides less of a distraction than fashionable clothes create. With uniforms, there is absolutely no controversy over who has the newest, coolest clothes in school. School uniforms should be mandatory because it will help against violence, bullying, and illegal action later on in life. It makes the school atmosphere a much safer place to be around. Studies have shown that they help to reduce gang influences. Many gangs have a certain color to symbolize their group, but with the idea of the school color uniforms if wont upset or start any fights with other gangs. Many kids get bullied for what clothes they wear or what shoes they wear, but if everyone wears the same thing it will
