As of now, many schools are still using a manual Registration System. Checking the record list of the student already registered manually is one of the problems due to lack of time managing. One of the school encountered this kind of problem is Ecumenical Christian College of Tarlac which has a lot of process to be done before a student get registered.
This research target is to recommend an enhanced information system to be used by the “Registration”, and therefore the proponents proposed a Students Record Management System for ECC to provide them a system technology that can help them to facilitate and organize process for each of their information.

Background of the Study
Students ought to be more cognizant identified with their school records/ documents so they can get a duplicate at whatever time that they need to have it. Especially, on the off chance that it’s vital for a particular reason. Thus, schools must depend on advances on the grounds that it can help a great deal of things particularly in performing their assignments proficiently.

Information Technology Innovation
There are two important parts in creating a modernized system, the hardware and the software. This framework will be produced to serve as the fundamental storage of the Student Record Management System. It will be utilized within dealing with the data in regards to the College. The framework will be manufactured utilizing Java, for the capacity and creating the system. NetBeans will be the IDE used for the source code editor. The proponents will utilize the Mysql/Sqlite for making and overseeing databases. Table 1.1 and Table 1.2 further expand the innovations utilized that will be as a part of creating the proposed system.

The technologies mentioned in the Table 1.1 and Table 1.2 will be used in creating, developing and designing the proposed system. It will likewise put into structure the thoughts being developed period. Continuously, the way these systems are utilized will influence the result of this study.

Rationale The proponents’ primary purpose in choosing this study is to apply and improve their skills and creativity when it comes to system development. The proponent also aims to contribute to the program and development of the Student Record Management System for ECC.

Statement of Objectives The general goal of this study is to outline and create a system that will arrange the school records/document of the students and it will serve as a proposal to help the students and educators/school chairman too to spare time and assets with the automation of its every day school transactions.
1. To design and develop a Student Record Management System for Ecumenical Christian College of Tarlac.
2. To validate the developed system in terms of the following:
2.1 Accuracy
2.2 Effectiveness
2.3 Functionality
2.4 User Convenience
2.5 Security

Significance of the Study
The study intends to provide an accurate and effective Student Record Management System for Ecumenical Christian College of Tarlac.
This study will be beneficial to the following:
To the Admin. The system will make it easier for the owner to manage the record keeping.
To the Registrar. The system will provide accurate information about the student’s record if it is already available in a faster manner.

Scope and Delimitations
The proponent aims to develop and design a computerized version of the existing record system of Student in ECC. The scope covers the following:

The proposed system provides restriction to unauthorized user, only the admin can access the system.
The proposed system will be able to record all necessary information about a student. The system is capable of producing a printable output of the students record.
The proposed system comes with an easy to understand interface.
The system will have a backup and restore for safety purposes
The system is capable of adding, deleting, searching and updating student records

However, the proposed system will not cover the following:
Automatic replacement and deletion of student records when they transferred to other schools.
The system will not cover other Student records except from ECC
The system will not work without power or current

Definition of Terms
