Persuasive Speech On “Say No To Racism”
Good morning to Mr. Mariapan and my beloved audience. Today, I am bold to talk about an issue that has haunts us for so long. Countless legislation, organizations and campaigns are created to combat this issue….but…to no avail. The problem has been all over the globe and standing here today, I am on a mission to eradicate this issue once and for all!
Ladies and gentlemen,
Let us hold hand in hand and “Say No To Racism” The racism button is the easiest to push and yet, the hardest to counteract. Almost everyone will tend to be racist, the only exceptions are the little babies and children yet to learn about the dark side of the world, but, it is just a matter of time before they learn the behaviours of these people around them.
By 1945, the world had enough of the consequences of slavery, segregation, colonialism, apartheid and the race ideologies of the Axis powers. Eventhough a fresh United Nations has declared racism as illegitimate, racism thrives after. If we are serious about combating racism, the time is now! . Before I go on about the importance of anti-racism, lets take a trip down to memory lane of the World War II . Recognize this guy? He is Adolf Hitler.Hitler believed that in the world, only one race was fit to survive; the Nazis. The Nazis considered Jews, Gypsies, Poles along with other Slavic people like the Russians, Ukrainians, Czechs and anyone else who was not their race according to the contemporary Nazi race terminology to be subhuman The Nazis rationalized that the Germans, being a super human race, had a biological right to displace, eliminate and enslave inferiors. According to statistics from the United Nation, Some 6 million Jews were killed by the Nazis during the Holocaust
