Sarah Breedlove's Road To Success
Sarah Breedlove had humble beginnings. In fact, looking at her early life, she would apper to have an unpromising future. She was tbe African American daughter of former slaves who both die when she was a child. She married at age 14, had a child at age 18, and became a widow at age 20. She moved to St. Louis, Missouri anf found work doing laundry for white families. Sarah was not to be a servant for long. She had to much determination and resolve.
What propelled Sarah toward her road to success were what you might call a disastrous hair day! She developed a scalp problem and lost patches of hiar, which made her feel embarassed.
