On 14Mar17 I, Deputy Halbasch, spoke with Heather Lampl at 202 6th St. East in Park Rapids. It should be known this is the last address where Sandra was residing.

Heather stated she had not seen Sandra for a while & she was no longer staying at this address. Heather then stated she would watch the video footage from Nevis T&M. Heather watched the recording & stated the female, first believed to be Sandra was in fact, Teia Pederson. Heather stated she knew of Tiea & that she considered Robert Knight to be her father figure. Heather believed Teia to live in either Cass Lake or Erskine, MN. Heather was able to provide me with a cell phone number for Teia.

I received a call back from Teia later in the day. Teia informed me she was with Robert Knight when he was arrested at the LEC. She then went to Walker to obtain the card from Robert Bremel & made the withdrawal at Nevis T&M. Teia stated she was given the PIN from Robert Bremel & he stated they would use the card & bring it back. Teia stated once Robert was released from custody, he was given the card & Teia was unsure if it was used after that time.

Sandra informed me she knew about Robert Knight & Teia using the card, & stated she did not use it herself on the days in question when it was used. Sandra stated was with Robert Knight when the card was given back to Robert Bremel in Walker, MN. Sandra did not if the car was used or not, but stated if Robert Bremel agreed to pay the bail amount it would have been used for that reason.

Riverside police detective Kevin Townsend decided to conduct a probation search on George Roussell’s home. The detective was having a very time trying to figure out where the Roussell lived. The probation agency said that Roussell lived in Moreno Valley, but the court system said that he lived in Corona. Roussells DMV address was on a Gould street in Riverside, but all his recent information like the local utilities and phone company showed that he was living at 8123 Magnolia Avn. Apt. 85 in Riverside. Detective Townsend made the decision that the Magnolia apartments had to be his current residents because of the utility bills. He also believed that was his home because most probationers and parolees give false addresses so that they can avoid warren less arrest. Most probationers and parolees don’t know that the police have access to there utility bills. Police use there utility bills so that they can track the criminals down and find out where they live.…

The Police Department of Alamance County had never seen a victim so composed, so determined and so sure. Just a few hours after her horrifying ordeal, after the emotionless doctor swabbed her vagina for semen samples at the hospital, Jennifer sat down at the police station with Detective Mike Gauldin. "The first comment I remember her making was that, “I'm going to get this guy that did this to me.” She said, “I took the time to look at him. I will be able to identify him if I'm given an opportunity," Gauldin remembered her saying (Hansen, 2001). She began combing through photos, trying to help come up with a composite of her rapist.…
