Roleesha pictures voices The Salvation Army as a whole, which is giving back, but my paper voices the awareness of domestic violence of the organization. Her concept of her paper is the organization is giving back to society, volunteering, and donations to support the ones in need. Both of our pictures express pathos, however, her picture makes people want to give back to the community, and my picture aware others about domestic violence.…

She says “Jesus, you ought to not shoot a lady. I’ll give you all the money I’ve got!” which reveals just how insincere she is, rather than a righteous Christian. In that part of the text, she sees that religion isn’t going to save her life, so instead she goes to lure the Misfit by soppy bribery. If she did not constantly pester the Misfit by saying “I know you’re a good man,” maybe her life would have not concluded with an aggressive murder scene. Her own flawed delusion of the lady statement within the quote lays the outline for judgment of the Misfit that subsequently leads to her death. (O’Connor…

Giving (verb): to freely transfer the possession of (something) to (someone); hand over to. When one gives to someone or does something special for someone, it is a win-win situation. In fact, the feeling of happiness is always mutual in those cases. No matter how big, small, concrete, or abstract the act of kindness is, it will go a long way nevertheless. The winter season - that is, the season for giving - is approaching, and it is a great time to “kick off” the amiable gestures for family and friends now. For me, personally, I would like to help cook a tasty dessert for my family to marvel over.…

There are several factors that contribute to me wanting to be a Community Assistant. One is that a goal of mine has been to forever influence Barrett. I believe that through the Barrett Residential Council and becoming a Community Assistant; I will achieve this goal. I also want to be a Barrett Community Assistant because of Kylie Kilian and James Orr (the CA’s of Agave 1), who have helped me transition into the collegiate environment. They are two of the kindest, most helpful people I know of, and if I am even a fraction of the CA’s that they are there would be no issues! However, I have chosen to apply of my own volition; due to me being qualified for the role of a CA, as well as taking on the job as a challenge to be a positive impact in people’s lives. There are three traits that are essential to be a Community Assistant that I have. First, I am a strong believer in helping those around me in times of distress. Secondly, I have always thrived in a leadership position and being an influence on the incoming class would be a wonderful adventure. Finally, I am willing…

Others that were with Jesus voiced their disapproval of the woman, but Jesus found no harm in her "wasteful" love for him. Jesus was merciful with the woman to see past her sins as she worshipped. Jesus forgave much, and the woman worshipped extravagantly. Our worship will always reflect how much we have been given. We need to constantly be looking at our lives and to "appraise the value we place on His love for us" (26).…
