Sag Harbor Movie Analysis
Sag Harbor was a wonderful example of how people could overcome segregation and wrongful classification to establish and build a community where African Americans did not have to fear the people in their environment. They were many positive stories that showed how regardless of unfair and unequal treatment many Black Americans prospered by creating a loving and family oriented community that contrasted with the lavish life among the rich. Sadly, the livelihood of this wonderful community was threatened by those who had the financial resources to buy or force out those who were unable to keep up with the changing economy.
