The main strengths of our corporation are transparency, innovativeness, expertise and speed. As mentioned before in the SWOT analysis, we are very precise in what we do, we try our best to keep our customers satisfied and feel secure when trusting us their product. As for our competitors, we are the only company in the EU market that allow our clients to design and customize their own handmade furniture, and we also have the exclusivity of a mobile app where they can also track the manufacturing and delivering process.
Moreover, we aim to expand our business in Western Europe, as our initial company is based in Germany, but also expand ourselves through the social media and advertisement process.
The perceptual map of our product category (Figure 3) helps us visualize the position of our service in relation to those of the competitors. In the x-axis (vertical one), we measure the price of the products, while in the y-axis (horizontal one) we measure the level of customization offered by the

Information Search: The second stage in the furniture purchase process is deciding where to shop. When shopping for furniture, most consumers included multiple stores in their "solution set" – visiting an average of 3.2 stores. Consumers also visited the store where they made their purchase an average of two times prior to making their purchase. Familiarity with a store is paramount to a furniture shopper. We also asked about store uniqueness. While the majority of consumers described furniture stores as at least somewhat different from each other, only one in five described them as very different from each other. Given the fact that consumers are most likely to purchase from stores they have shopped at previously or are already familiar with, relationships with existing customers are critical. In order to bolster those relationships retailers should consider creating loyalty programs to keep customers informed of new items and sales and encourage repeat business. There is a significant opportunity to create awareness among consumers who have never visited your store by clearly communicating overall style and quality of products offered and available price ranges in your advertising.…

The organization that I have chosen to do my SWOT analysis on is the New Orleans Saints football team. They are among the most successful teams of this decade but not ranked very high as far as most lucrative organizations in the National Football League. They are currently ranked 23rd among the 30 active teams in the national football league. The organization was formed and became a professional football team in 1967. The team got its nickname due to its founding being on All Saints Day on November 1, 1967. The team initially one of the weaker franchises in the league. It didn’t win many games and struggled to sell out games. They have won one Super Bowl title, 5 Division Championships, and made only 9 playoff appearances in its 46 year existence. The ultimate goal of this organization is to win football games and generate revenue by selling tickets and merchandise.…

As one of the leading retail companies in the United States, it is evident that Target possesses many strengths pertinent to the merchandising industry. These strengths are apparent in Target Corp.’s financial results. Target Corp. has honed in on providing customers with high-quality and innovative merchandise that keeps them coming back to see what the “next new thing” from Target will be. Another main component of Target’s strength is its low price for these high-quality and innovative products. Customers buy in to the “cheap but chic” motto, and keep coming back for more. IKEA is a Swedish-owned global business founded in 1943. The business generates annual revenues of 27 billion euros and employs 139,000 people in 298 stores and 26 countries. The values and design philosophy of the founder continue to underpin the brand. These values might be summed up as frugal, democratic, environmentally aware, and design oriented. IKEA has become synonymous with Swedish lifestyle. The stores are virtually identical across the globe and sell a range of globally sourced flat-packed furniture products as well as a range of related furnishings for the home—the stores offer customers a Swedish experience by incorporating restaurants and a variety of customer services intended to simplify the shopping process (e.g., childcare). What is interesting about IKEA is that customers have become a significant part of the value creating process—customers play a key role in terms of logistics and in production. By performing the assembly of the flat-packed furniture, customers complete the final stages in the production process. In terms of logistics, the customer “moves” goods from warehouse-style storage through the checkout, and then transports the goods home. The trade-off for the consumer is lower prices and immediate gratification—furniture is typically sold using just in time (JIT) inventory management, which means that once a customer has placed an order, the furniture then goes into production and is delivered to the customer’s home some 3–4 months later.…

Today is impossible to imagine life without furniture. It has become our reliable assistant. Each piece of furniture fulfills its own role. On the bed, people get enough sleep after a hard day, on the sofa they watch TV or read books, and sitting at dinner table, they not only eat, but also discuss important family news. The process of manufacturing furniture has become a real art. It emphasizes the prestige, indicates the presence of the taste of the owner. Societies are no longer able to dispense with the furniture, but it’s necessary first to consider what corporation to choose for a purchase. Therefore, our company was asked to create an e-commercial website to provide consumers with detailed information about properties we produce. The…
