STOP: Shedding Down From The Power Team Hose
Short story STOP PLEASE STOP! Feeling the icy water dripping down from the Power Team Hose. The cries of there laughter were so disgusting and vicious like the devil's own laughter. I’d cry out HELP! No one was ever there to witness the crucial activities the so called doctors would have installed for me. I was trapped with no way out. “You want some more of this boy!?” yelled the doctor with the gas mask on. “ We still have ten gallons filled with gelid water to throw out.” Never had asked for this to happen. I could see the look on there faces. Ugly, hideous looking demons is all i see, no doctors. How bad i wanted to escape this hell hole. “That’s enough!” screeched the broken speaker. The voice is what i called it. The voice had saved …show more content…
I was good as dead i thought, the question i always thought was what did i do to deserve this. It was halloween night and i was doing a genuine walk down the county bridge in Whitechapel, England. It was very dark and gloomy which was very odd and all i heard were police sirens coming closer to me then as i looked up upon the bridge something had hit me. Regaining my vision i never believed of what had i witnessed. It was a body, badly cut up, almost as if Jack the ripper had done this, but wait no i couldn’t he’s been dead for almost a hundred years this had to be a prank. It wasn’t. I had soon figured out it was the daughter of a police officer. the police caught me red handed all i could hear was the devastation of his lost daughter. I was accused of 1st degree murder and sentenced to life in a mental institution.
“We kid looks like you’re gonna be in hell soon” grinned Belen, “You have to go to court and have another court case for the daughter whom YOU murdered.” I could hear screaming in my head that i was not able to contain that i screeched out so hard. Then someone had struck me hard right across the face and woke up feeling light headed and dizzy on my hard rough bed. It was all just a dream..so i believed..but it

The undercover footage showed staff repeatedly assaulting and harshly restraining patients under chairs. They pulled patients' hair and forced medication into patients' mouths. Victims were shown screaming and shaking, and one patient was seen trying to jump out of a second floor window to escape the torment, and was then mocked by staff members. It was the longest walk into town I have ever taken, because of all the people of course. The whole time all I could think about is what are they going to do to me. In this town we hang or imprison murderers. Honestly I can’t think of which I would prefer if they gave me the option. If I was to be sent to prison, then I would serve a life sentence which in my case might not be that long. This sounds better than being hung. Finally, we made it to the Sheriff’s office, and I sat down in the chair right in front of his desk. He already knew why I was there, everyone in town knew by now what I had done. I suppose they would be shocked to know I was capable of murder. I however know exactly what I am capable of doing.…

“Do you remember what made you fall?” His eyes continued their roaming across my face. “I don’t know, I must have just lost my balance. It must have been that. I did have this idea, this feeling that when you were standing there beside me, y— I don’t know, I had a kind of feeling. But you can’t say anything for sure from just feelings. And this feeling doesn’t make any sense. It was a crazy idea, I must have been delirious. So I just have to forget it. I just fell,” he turned away to grope for something among the pillows, “that’s all.” Then he glanced back at me, “I’m sorry about that feeling I had.” I couldn’t say anything to this sincere, drugged apology for having suspected the truth. He was never going to accuse me. A Separate Peace page 58…

We were on trial, I could feel the splinters as I squeezed the quill hard. I had many thoughts in my head, were we going to die, are my family going to be okay, Will I ever see them again, how long until I either drown or get hanged? I squeezed it harder. My father was gone, in a different room to do his trial. I remember! I nearly jump for joy as I remember that all I have to say is that I am guilty. Many have done it before and are still alive. But what if this time is different? I dip it in ink as I write guilty. I see them nod heads. The judge is starting to talk as someone uncuffs me. I am free! I start to walk out, but stop midway like something is wrong. I rush home to find no one is there.…

I’d rather be talking about anything else in the world right now, but just after I graduated from high school, in June 1978, I picked up a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks, I took him home to my parents' house, where we drank beer and had sex. When he tried to leave, I killed him with a barbell by hitting his head. That night in Ohio, that was one impulsive night. Nothing’s been normal since then. It tainted my whole life. After it happened I thought I’d just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don’t stay buried. I didn’t think it would, but it does, it tainted my whole life. I wish I hadn’t done it. At the same time of my first killing, my alcohol consumption became uncontrollable and in January 1979, I dropped out of Ohio State University after only one term due to my drunkenness. Thus, my recently remarried father insisted that I enlist in the Army, and I was sent to Germany. Though my drinking problem persisted and two years later the Army discharged me for alcoholism. Following my discharge I returned home to Ohio where I went through Hicks' decomposing remains, pulverized them with a hammer, and scattered the pieces even more widely in the woods. Later in October 1981 I was arrested for…

Kay, I gotta go to church now...lol. “ a week before that though she wrote in her journal complaining on the fact her battery to her phone was dead proof that she was suffering from depression. I have gone through a lot of things in my life. Many people would not believe so, as I am a pretty blessed child with my father the king, my mother the queen, and me of course, the prince. My life really started to go downhill when my father passed away. Wait, he did not just “pass away”, he got murdered. By my uncle. Why you may ask? Well I’m not too sure. It probably had to do with the fact that now, after two months, my mother married him. He wanted the throne and to rule the town. I wanted revenge, and that is all I wanted. I started seeing ghosts and that started frightening me. I thought I was going insane. The ghost, who ended up being my father, told me to kill my uncle, to get the revenge I strived for. But I couldn’t. I wanted to be very cautious. I wasn’t really that type of person that goes around murdering people! Eventually I started to be abusive to my mother. I really regret that. But I was so mad at her for getting married to the one that killed her own husband! At this point, I accidently murdered my girlfriend’s dad, thinking that it was my disgusting brother. I realized that I was now the murderer that I never wanted to be. Her brother, of course got mad, and my uncle tried to convince him to kill me! We fought, and I thought it would be the winner. Little did I know, my uncles sword was laced with poison, and if it touched me, I’d die. I…

My hospital bed was ice cold and the bleak and empty white walls depressed me as the uncomforting thought that I would have to stay here for maybe another week brought tears to my eyes. The usual and oppressive smell of disinfectant lingered in the room as I recalled that night in my head, trying to convince myself it wasn’t my fault, as I had done everyday since the accident. It was the day everything changed and my life was turned upside down. Forever.…

My adolescent legs strain as I continue along the path aimlessly, my stomach rumbles in emptiness as I realise I left without food. How can one think of such things at a time like that? I most certainly didn't, and now the only thing dwelling in my gut was the sore pain that was the increasing hate for the cruel beings that raised me. Lost in my thoughts my melancholy walking pattern is disrupted as my foot catches on a thick branch and I fall swiftly face first into a small jagged rock. Dazed, I lift myself up from the ground and dust myself off; my left eyelid closes automatically as blood rolls down the top of my face. Cursing, I wipe my face with my sleeve, soaking the cotton a blackish-red instantly. The shock dissipates and pain sets in, sharp agony mixed with a strange tingling sensation on my forehead. I forcedly push the pain to the back of my mind, and go to take my next step just as a small blue spherical object reflecting the moon catches my eye on the edge of the track. Interested, I walk over to it, and pick it up in my hands. After examining the dirt caked ball, images of my younger brother flash through my mind. Times spent together, kicking a ball in the backyard, taking him to his first movie, and then screams of pain, blood, oh god the blood is.... The ball drops to the ground as my hand trembles from the horrible images. I kick it far away off the trail in anger as Im reminded of the situation Im in. The smoky scent of a…

I can remember that very night when the inspector came to our home, inspector Goole. He seemed a bit curious at first and said we had killed this girl Eva Smith. I didn’t really recognise the girl or heard her name before. I was astonished to know farther had something to do with this. Inspector Goole then came over to me enquiringly as he thought I was involved. I looked at the photograph; I just noticed I knew this girl. I felt horrible knowing that this girl Eva Smith got fired from her job because of me. I didn’t realise at the time. Just because of that silly dress.…

It was around midnight on Friday when I was walking down the street. Tired and concern about the time I was walking fast to the bus stop in one of the most impoverished areas of the town. Just when the darkest street approached I saw a man standing by the side as if he was waiting for me to come. My heart started to beat faster and faster as I was walking towards him and my hands were suddenly sweating, I tried to focus myself on the light at the end of the street and walk by him discreetly but my fear was so obvious that I couldn’t help but run and hold my purse tight to my chest. The words mugging, raped and even death were crossing in my mind as replacing the lack of air in my lungs. While I was running to be “safe”, I decided to make sure that he “the mugger” was not following me but he was! That made the situation even worse. When I finally got to the bus stop I saw him menacingly close, I couldn’t breathe nor take one more step then I thought to myself, this is it! I’m done, he will kill me. But to my surprise he was just running to see if I was fine and asked if someone was following me to hurt me.…

I faintly remember what happened that night, that’s the reason why I’m sitting here. I can’t think clearly, see straight and yet I continue to see glimpses of him, his baby blue eyes, greasy black hair and oily face that sheds a smile every so often. I didn’t mean for everything to be this way, I feel as if it’s my fault, that maybe I’m the suspect. I feel as if there’s a blunt knife digging deeper into the guilty walls of my soul. As I peer around the room, I notice one streak of sunlight, fighting for survival in the dark and dampened room.…
