Rudy Ruettiger once said, “When you achieve one dream, dream another. Getting what you want is only a problem if you have nowhere to go next. Dreaming is a lifetime occupation.” Rudy Ruettiger was a boy that always dreamed of playing football at Noter Dame. He was a young man that lived in Joliet, Illinois, but not far away in a region called Appalachia there lived a young man named Shawn Grim. He too had a dream of going to college. Rudy and Shawn have many similarities, but they can be very different.
