Rudeness around me Have you ever seen rude behavior while you are walking down the street? How do you feel when people act inappropriately around you in public? A research shows that 79% of Americans have indicated that rude behavior is on the rise in the United States. I believe that most of people dislike rude behavior, particularly when the behavior offends us. However, the occurring of rude behavior is inevitable in our daily life. I would like to say, rude behavior is all common in several places I often go to. I am a college student and I usually go to class by bus. Thus, bus is one of the occasions that relate to my everyday activities. I feel sick sometimes because the bus is with garbage in front of the seats on the ground; there are some food bags thrown by riders after eating. Food is allowed on buses, but citizens should always be aware that garbage is supposed to be taken out when riders get off the bus. Being noisy is another rude behavior I am seeing. Whether from your car, your home street or in your yard, it is rude to blast loud music. An example is that some people talk loudly on the public and don’t care about other people. I had experienced that once I was on the bus, a lady talked extremely loudly on her phone through all the time on the bus. I could feel that everyone on the bus was so bothered by her talking, the high volume of voice. Unfortunately, that lady did not notice what is happening around her. The other place where I witnessed rude behavior is my school. It seems these days that new generations are not being raised to respect their elders. All people should respect those older than them. I saw a conversation between a student and a college elder faculty. It sounded like they were arguing something: the young student screamed at the elder about the notification in the school, saying that the school’s notification is always late. The faculty was explaining patiently in a lower voice and trying to calm the student down. I felt
