Royal Mail has a history over the 350 years since re-establishment of General Post Office by Oliver Cromwell in 1657.Royal Mail had lots of developments since this time like sorting machines and postcode inventions. In 1986, Royal Mail divided itself into three main departments, Royal Mail Letters, Parcelforce and Post Office Counters. In 2001 after the became the public limited company, they introduced the Consignia which the name found by Royal Mail in 2002.In 2005, they restructured their operations as 4 main departments and it still sustaining as same operations.; Royal Mail Letters, Post Office, Parcelforce Worldwide and GLS. One of the European steps were making partnerships with some European companies like MNG Cargo in Turkey at 2008
