Rodney Alcala. For some, even hearing his name sends chill down their spine. Rodney Alcala was born in San Antonio Texas on August 23, 1943. At the young age his father, Raoul Alcala Buquor, abandoned him and his family leaving his mother to raise him and his siblings by herself. At the age of twelve him, he mother Anna Maria Gutierrez, and his sister Christine had moved to suburban Los Angeles.. At the age of 17 he joined the military to help get himself out of his hard times and economic situations. Alcala had a mental break down and after just four short years he was discharged when the military psychiatrist diagnosed him with antisocial personality disorder.
