On a beautiful and otherwise uneventful Thursday, shots were fired in Ernie’s Restaurant. The dead body belonged to the 5 Fingered Fannin, who worked as a racketeer. After a thorough examination of the scene, the detective and police force determined that person C committed the crime, based on the evidence that the murderer was left handed and the footprint patterns around the restaurant. In addition, they were able to conclude that B, C, and D collaborate to make this happen, even though person C fired the shots in the end. They have provided an explanation of their evidence below.…

Often called “Brio” for short, Brio Tuscan Grille at Town Square offers a variety of food with excellent service so your mind is satisfied and your belly is full. From the beginning, I have always been in love with the miniature Roman Colosseum inside the restaurant. Though the theme of the restaurant isn’t unique since there are so many other Italian choices within the City of Las Vegas, the ambiance of the Colosseum gives the restaurant a really unique, Italian feel.…

"Limited-Service Eating Places in the US" (NAICS 72221 and SIC 5812) is an industry that consist mainly of establishments that provide food service where customers usually order and pay for the items before eating. This industry, which accounts for more than one third of the entire restaurant dining industry, is categorized into three main segments (Bramhall). The first segment is limited service restaurants, which include drive thru and take out facilities. This segment currently has the largest market share. These establishments tend to specialize in limited menu items, such as hamburgers, pizza, sandwiches, and/or chicken (Basham 9). The second segment includes coffee shops, ice cream and donut shops. And the last segment consists of cafeterias. Establishments such as ice cream or yogurt shops, doughnut shops, bagel shops and cookie shops are also categorized under this industry. Key players in this industry are McDonald's Corporation, Starbucks Corporation, Yum! Brands, Incorporated and Doctor's Associates Inc.…

This business plan is to open a door for young adults that want to learn a trade and earn their way in life. Not all high school aged students are eager to go onto a college or a university and this can be for many reasons: perhaps they are not ready to leave home; cannot afford; they are academically challenged; not sure what they want to major in; the list can go on and on. My wish for these young adults is for them to explore what their capabilities are through learning a trade. This trade school is the only one of its kind in this county, we want to offer a variety of skill sets to the students without them having to travel far or live elsewhere. We feel that instead of the undue stress that can wreak havoc on these young adults and their families as to what to do after high school if they are not ready to attend an academic college or university, why not offer them an option of a skill that will enable them to make money and be a prelude to an academic school. Currently, what I am seeing with these young adults that are stuck on what do to with their lives, is a huge increase in drug use, crime and horrifically death.…

One fine Sunday afternoon I texted my clone to go on a date but tragically he was occupied. My second date plan did succeed however, so me and editor-in-chief Gibson Merrick took the bleak walk from Fordham library gate down to Applebee’s on Third Avenue. Applebee’s is an American tradition turned Bronx treat stuffed with as much good times propaganda and sports images as anyone could ever hope to see. I felt as though I was at some sort of second world mall with all of the poorly photoshopped patriotic Bronx themed laser imaged murals that abounded in the two story space. Also much like the second world, there were an abundant number of people in uniform, but few of them doing much of anything. We took a seat at the bar and waited a good ten to fifteen minutes before the bartender even noticed the two Adonis’s had arrived.…

Week after week my wife and I would make time to watch Hell’s Kitchen. Sucked in by all its drama, from the audacity of those subordinates testing Chef Ramsay’s experience to the fool who dared questioning his authority in the kitchen. Week after week we would ask one another, “What is beef wellington?” Well, two weeks later we decided to start a Google Maps search of beef wellington.…

George Mardikian, author of “Why I Close My Restaurant,” believes that true humility is a basic need of mankind. When Mardikian first came to America, strangers were enthusiastic to help him. Mardikian started employment at a San Francisco cafeteria and eventually bought the place. Based on his hardship in the past, Mardikian understood that people in need are everywhere. Affected by the kindness of the passionate strangers, Mardikian closed his restaurant every Christmas Eve to serve his employees and their families with a warm party.…
