Bashundhara Steel and Engineering Limited
The current boom of the Shipbuilding Industry is in the rise globally due to high demand for building new ships, This has helped Bangladesh to attract the attention of international shipping companies and this seeimed, a new scope for economic development for the country. Bashundhara Group, a renowned Group of Companies, planned to contribute by entering into International Shipbuilding Industry. The group was involved in this sector as Bashundhara Steel and Engineering Ltd. To achieve the goal, the up gradation works of the BSEL Shipyard are being done rapidly as per master plan and hope it will become a leading shipyard for home and abroad soon to play a great role in socio-economic development of the country. The yard has three shipways and a modern workshop where repairs and conversion are regularly done. The yard has built 2 nos. 1800 MT dwt vessels. Now laying up keel for more 14 nos. 2500 MT dwt vessel. The yard has a plan to design and construct ocean going multipurpose and container vessels in near future.

Bangladesh at present considered to be one of the most lucrative markets to the international shipbuilding industry for the very obvious reason of its low labor cost, skilled workers and less scope of shipbuilding facilities in terms of time and cost in the international shipbuilding industries. The way the industries are developing in Bangladesh there is no doubt that in near future it is going to be the highest contributor in our national economy. Since 15th century, Bangladesh started new Building with sailing ship. At present mainly engaged in inland coastal vessels it follows inland shipping ordinance 2001 similar to GL inland shipbuilding rules. 90% Inland Vessels are built locally, 10% imported from overseas. Raw materials and equipment from scrap yard or imported from overseas. Presently 6000 inland vessels from 50MT DWT – 2500DWT (Cargo, passenger, Tanker and Pontoons) are engaged in

    Background In the events industry, it compromise of the collaboration between the event planners and clients who engaged the event company to run the event for them. It compiles of many different types of events such as corporate, exhibitions and company parties events. For each individual event has their very own specific target guest/audience. With each specific targeted guest comes with different objectives, needs and wants. Guest attending will look in all aspect of the event in terms of the location where it refers to the easy accessibility in getting to the event’s venue, ambience refers to the feel and vibe that exudes throughout the event which will be experienced by the guest and the list goes on.
