Have you ever thought a person would be more likely to get or job or judged a person's personality by their skin color/race? This is racial profiling, and it is a major issue we face. Innocent people are being judged wrongly, just because of their race. It is our job to stop racial profiling, but how are people profiling others? Some major examples of this is people unconsciously profiling and how even the police are profiling, sometimes leading to deadly judgments.

One thing that has blocked us recently from this goal is police brutality. Innocent people are still being profiled by the police. Ranges of this racist act can go from increased ticketing based on race, to police deciding to shoot or not based on what color a person is. A tragic example is what happened in Ferguson, Missouri. Michel Brown and Dorian Johnson were robbing a convenience store for tobacco and fled the scene. Officer Darren Wilson found the suspects and confronted them, leading to reports of a struggle. It is believed that Brown tried to grab Wilson’s gun, failed, and ran. The scene where controversy starts is when Brown gave himself in, but was shot 12 times. It is still unknown if Wilson’s actions were fair, Wilson states that he shot Brown out of self defense, but Brown was unarmed. Either way, racism is still used today, but one good thing from this tragic incident was that it started the topic of #all lives matter. This helped spark non racist mindsets around the world, and made people remember that we still have work to end racism. The question is, if this issue is going to come back later, is there a way to stop racial profiling?
Decades we have tried to stop racial profiling, but it keeps coming back. The only true way to stop racial profiling is to remember these events, the ones to come, and think why we stand for them. All of the events listed are about how racial profiling is still going on, but they all conclude that since the time the events started, the rate of profiling has slowed or stopped. If people remember that this anti-human act needs to stop, it will. In the end, our main goal is to realize that profiling is a problem, and we must stand up together to face
