Necrotizing Fasciitis (NF) is a condition when bacteria cells destroy the underlying skin and also the tissues. The death of the tissue can spread as rapidly as 12 to 24 hours and can potentially be fatal to its victims. Some people are at greater risk of contracting NF. People who have disorders that affect blood circulation, diabetes, and heart disease are at major risk.
