Michelangelo Buonarroti was a famous Italian painter, architect, poet, sculptor. He was born in Caprese Italy. Michelangelo Buonarroti was an aid to the Catholic Church due to artwork like David and Pietá and because of the poetry he wrote.
On March 6 in the year 1475, Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was born. He always had a fascination for painting and art. Throughout his youth he was surrounded by people who inspired him. It is no wonder that just in his teenage years he created outstanding masterpieces.
Being extremely skilled at art and practiced the Catholic faith, Michelangelo Buonarroti created beautiful sculptures depicting religious scenes. Pietá is one of the sculptures created by Buonarroti. It is of Mary holding Jesus
