Mad cow disease is a neurological disorder of cattle that can be transmitted to humans. In humans, mad cow disease is known as Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. This scientific term for the disease was named after two of the doctors who described its symptoms for the first time. In cattle, this disease is referred to as Bovine Spongiform Encepholopathy and causes sponge like destruction of brain.

Symptoms of Mad Cow Disease
