Research Paper On Macbeth
Shakespeare’s writings have been some of the most influential writings to hit the pen and paper. His plays, just like any good piece of literary work have that special touch that pulls the reader in and allows them to engage in the text in such a way that allows them to learn life’s lesions through the characters. In one of Shakespeare’s most famous writing, Macbeth, Shakespeare uses the story of Macbeth to allow the reader to meditate on the morality of murder and its true coast. Macbeth is the story of a Scottish hero, who finds out through three witches that he will one day be named thane of Cawdor and that one day he will be crowned the next king. He begins to fight these thoughts, until he finds out he is to be named than of Cawdor and once the sparks were lite he begins to wrestle with the ideas of becoming king and how to go about doing that. From there on out he, begin to see how the idea of becoming king keeps reappearing in his mind, and how instead of putting truth in its place, he just pushes it aside and does not deal with the issue. Allowing the ideas to take deep root and grow. One example is, when Macbeth steps aside from the feast to think about what he is about to do. Through this dialoged you see him go back and forth first thinking that "If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well / It were

Shakespeare even goes out of his way to tell you this through his character. The same feeling comes to me when I listen to some of the darker classical pieces like in Nocturnes written by Adrian von Ziegler through the eeriness of the organ and the downbeats of the bass drums and the music being sung in minor you feel as if you are in an eerie enchanted forest that is consuming you. Although you fight it you are never the less being pulled in like quicksand. Adrian also uses the sounds of knives in his music; into I find parallels well with how most of the killings in Macbeth due to daggers and or
