"Kawasaki's disease?" Dr. Williams said. Kawasaki's, what in the world is that? Why are you talking about motorcycles; we were not in an accident. How can this be happening, what does this mean for my three year old son, could this, or will this end his very young life and mine along with his. I thought it was only flu, maybe infection but this, what is this. "Why is she not saying anything?" I thought. She just stood there looking at me, that's about the time I realized that I was not asking these questions out loud. She headed for the door but I had to ask the question; “what is Kawasaki’s disease?” “Oh, well, it’s an inflammatory disease that effects the arteries, can cause the patient to have a heart attack and can even cause death”.
