A Schedule I drug is defined as a highly illegal drug, since they have been recognized to have a high potential to be abused and are considered to have no medical use whatsoever. Hemp is considered a Schedule I drug, even though it is used in several states as medicine and is even legal in several states across the USA, including California most recently. Cannabis, another name for marijuana, contains a chemical known as THC, which is one of the main reasons people using this drug experience a “high”. Most commonly, marijuana is smoked by use of pipes, joints, blunts, or bongs, but can also be eaten through baked goods or even just pills, called marinol pills. Furthermore, many studies have proven that cannabis has medicinal properties too,
