The guinea pig is a very interesting animal. It is a common house pet today. The guinea pig is a happy animal. It likes to purr to show how it is happy. They purr a lot when you pet them. They are very social and like to play with other guinea pigs and humans. They eat vegetables for their food. While eating, they chomp down their food really fast. They are really playful. You can teach them a few tricks. An interesting fact about guinea pigs is that they never close their eyes when they sleep. They don’t even sleep, really. They take short naps and usually maintain awake the whole day. The guinea pig has very interesting things about it. They are very unique.
