EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

DuPont is an American chemical company that was founded in 1802 by Eleuthere Irenee du Pont. It started as a gun powder making business and has grown to be the world’s third largest chemical company. Presently, they are a global science company with about $38 Billion in sales worldwide which has a diverse array of product offerings. Their business has been organized into five categories, namely, Electronic and Communication Technologies, Performance Materials, Coating and Color Technologies, Safety Protection, and Agriculture and Nutrition.

The company has become the most successful and sustained industrial enterprises in the world. They aim to nourish a growing population, build a
