Ms. Papakonstantino English III 21 March 2013 English III Research Term Paper This such system says they are democratic, but the question of it being legitimate is still in the air. There has been many conspiracies revolving around the government and been the center of conversations. Some say Jefferson was “the very child of modern illumination, the foe of man, and the enemy of his country (Levy).” The word Illuminati is Latin for “enlightened ones”. The central figure behind all of this is German philosopher Adam Weishaupt. He came up with the concept of “enlightment”, in the sense of “letting in the light of reason” (Levy). When did this all start you ask? This organization was founded in 1776 (McNeely). There has been many rumors about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s association with the secretive society. I feel like there’s more problems the U.S. is having, Jay Z and Beyoncé, being members of the Illuminati are behind it all. The Illuminati has existed since ancient times. The word Illuminati was viewed as an evil term also. What they originally called it was Order of “Perfectibilists". This has been described as an institution whose “plan and object” was to “overthrow of all religion and all government (Payson). Many people have different theories as to what their overall goal or plot is. Some say it is to control the total government and the others say it’s the complete opposite. The Illuminati’s goals are to overthrow government, lower and middle class raised up, a new republic instituted, and the power of the church smashed (Levy). While another author says it’s to reform society peaceably and not all to engage in acts of violence (McNeely). It is ironic because when you hear the term “Illuminati” you automatically think of fear and outrage. Some say they have a secret plot to achieve the exact opposite of control and dictatorship. My opinion is theyjust want the world to be in order, that’s

History has shown us that they are supported, possessed, and guided by the most evil spirits of all time. Members of the Illuminati think of themselves as descendants of Cain, brother of Abel. Cain was one of two sons born to Eve, the first woman mentioned in the Bible. In the third book of Genesis we are told the story of Adam and Eve in the beautiful Garden of Eden. The book explains how Eve is tempted by the sly serpent when he hissed that their eyes would “be opened” if they ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The key word in this passage is “eyes” which in Hebrew can be translated to "knowledge" and the word “opened” can be translated "broadened." What the serpent promised Adam and Eve was that knowledge would be broadened if they ate of the forbidden fruit. What my Catholic grade school teacher didn’t tell me was that Eve didn’t eat actually an apple, but instead had a taste of the devil himself. When Adam heard of Eve’s sexual acts with the devil he became jealous and he too followed in the devil’s footsteps by producing an offspring with her. Recently, scientific knowledge has proven that it’s possible to conceive twins who have different fathers. This explains that Cain, who killed his brother, Abel, was the son of the devil and Abel was Adam’s son (Robinson). The devil is wicked and will always seek to…

Although some may believe the Illuminati collapsed in the late 1700s, there are many firm believers in its existence today. The Illuminati was originally founded in Bavaria in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, a student of the Jewish philosopher Mendelssohn, and the Rothschild family. The alleged society has always been based off of Freemasonry, which members of the Illuminati controlled during the 18th century. Freemasonry is a secret institution in which members at one level don’t know what members at another level are doing. Having 2000 members over a span of 10 years, many politicians and intellectuals were believed to be part…

The object of Illuminati is to take over the world and get it to a certain population of Illuminati believers. The Illuminati has been around for thousands and thousands of years. The groups being spoken about in the quote are ones that hold many covert ideas and powerful purposes to which most of the public have no clue. What really is a secret society? There is no actual definition to what a secret society really is, each individual groups defines itself. Each group has its own set of morals and values that deeply identify what it is. Throughout history, there have been a large amount of people who join these groups, but why they join is something they will forever keep to themselves. The first mention of the word Illuminati began in 1776 by a man named Adam Weishaupt. At that time, the Illuminati actually went by the name of the "Perfectibility.” It included 5 original members and Adam was the head of this large group of men who seek enlightment. They have managed to gain a few other names as well, for example, the Freemasons, Masons, Illuminatus, and New World Order. The “true,” if that can be said, Illuminati ended around 1785. It is believed that the Illuminati are still functioning in society and are trying to create a one-world government, so that they can take over all of its nations. According to the article, “What is the Illuminati Conspiracy?” the Illuminati is supposedly conducted of a private selection of chosen people working in the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Criminal Courts. Illuminati actually have a “religion”, a belief system, called Luciferianism or Illuminism. Luciferianism comes from the word Lucifer, which is known by many as Satan, the dark ruler of the underworld. To fully understanding the reasoning for using such a dark ruler as a name of a religion, one must first understand the history. In the Bible, a story is told about Lucifer, the highest of the angels; yet, he was not satisfied, and wanted more. He wanted to replace God and attempted to do this by creating the first rebellion against him. God quickly banished Lucifer from Heaven and sent him, along with one third of all the angels away to the underworld. Lucifer, once the good angel of light, became Satan, evil angel of darkness (The New Oxford Annotated Bible, Luke 10:18). This story explains how Illuminati wants the same thing Lucifer did, the…

Whether the Illuminati exists has been a controversial topic for hundreds of years. Are they really conspiring for new world order? Do the members of this alleged secret society have to sell their souls to Satan to gain admission? I have recently discovered that a distant family member of mine is a member of the Illuminati, so this peaked my interest on the subject even more. Since its commencement, many groups claim to be involved with The Illuminati Order, and solid facts about the group were very difficult to find, but some details have been agreed upon by researchers and philosophers, one being that The Illuminati did exist at one point, ran by some of the most prestigious and influential members of society since the beginning of time. Whether or not it still survives today and the true members that comprise it, however, remains a mystery. It has been said that The Illuminati is a benevolent group whose goals are to bring peace and harmony to the world, it has also been said that the group is powered and driven by demonic forces, only made up of true evil. Not much about The Illuminati can be proven for sure, but some clues have been left behind inducing its history, members and formation of the society, and how the group has influenced, or otherwise shaped, our world history.…

Let’s go back to when it all started. In 1782 there was a meeting among members of this secret organization at which the leaders enlisted German royalty and French masons who later cultivated the French revolution In 1789. Similar to the revolutionists in France, the illuminati despised Christianity and didn’t approve of marriage and Christian morals, but did approve of vampirism and cannibalism. According to sjgames.com’s 50 awful things about the illuminati, the members of the organization wanted to destroy any current morality so they could carry on the reconstruction of society. After the revolution, the illuminati did not disappear, but went underground, assuming different names, and preparing for the new world order. The order will consist of one world government, led by the leading men of the illuminati. The order will also consist of single world currency, centralize control of media in schools, and eventually abolish religion and morality.…
