Remember The Titans Film Review
Remember the Titans, takes place during the race problem in America between whites and blacks. The year 1971, right after the Civil Rights movement, when all-black and all-white high school has been combined in Alexandria, West Virginia. Football was the only thing this town was known for, the school year begins not in school but on the football field. It starts with Herman Boone, a coach from South Carolina who is a hard core coach who doesn’t take any shit. He was hired by white board to please black population of their new school, which put coach Bill Yoast in the assistant coach position. It was Boone’s job to unite the races that make up the team and coaching staff in order to win.

The second was in the locker room after practice with all of the football players and Pete Jones who is an african American player who was talking to a white football player and called him sunshine and he liked it and they shook hands then everyone started making momma jokes and all started to sing and have fun together which was a good team bonding experience for everyone.
“Does anyone know what this place is?” said Boone.
“Some old foggy field coach.” said Star LB Gerry Bertier
“No this is the battlefield of Gettysburg.” said Boone
“This is where they fought the battle of Gettysburg. Fifty thousand men died right here on this field, fighting the same fight that we’re still fighting amongst ourselves today.” “Coach why are we here we are cold and it is early?” said a football player
“Because hatred destroyed my family. You listen and take a lesson from the dead. If we don’t come together right now, on this hallowed ground, we too will be destroyed just like they were. …”
“This green field right here was painted red, bubbling with the blood of young boys. Smoke and hot lead pouring right through their bodies. Listen to their souls, man.” said
